This outline will guide you through the process of making your own Gladstones CD from scratch.
Step 1: Compare prices on the different goods that will be needed throughout the course of this project
Since the entire point of this project is to save you such an insignificant sum of money. It would be pointless to waste a large amount of cash on the production of your bootleg CD. Thankfully, with the advent of CD writing, the cost of blank CD media is constantly decreasing. The total of all the materials needed (blank CD, jewel case, CD label, two sheets of paper, CD labeling device) should cost you no more than $2. Not to worry, the CD labeling device will be with you for all your life, assisting you in ripping off poor, defenseless teenage musicians for years to come.

Note: Also consider that because you're at this site, there's a good chance that you're punk. In which case, you might want to try stealing the articles needed for this project. In case you didn't know, stealing stuff is punk.
Step 2: Acquire Gladstones MP3s
With the earthshattering demise of the great Napster Music Community, it has become increasingly difficult to listen to your favorite bands' music while forgoing actually purchasing a CD and helping the band stay alive. We have a second option for you. You can visit our MP3 site. Here you can only find three of our songs due to the set limit. It is still better than actually buying a CD. To get the MP3, you click download and choose a location on your hard drive that you will easily remember.

Note: A second option is to "borrow" a CD from a friend and be a parasite to the hard-earned money they bestowed upon us. This also helps because downloading large files, such as MP3s, on a dial-up connection takes too much time. You might as well just pay for the CD. And in case you didn't know, broadband internet isn't punk.
Step 3: Writing the tracks to a CD
Due to the many different varieties of CD burning utilities available on the market today, we will not go too in-depth for the actual burning process of the CD. We will, however, give you a couple tips to abide by. Burn the CD as a disc-at-once, and be sure to close the CD when finished. Otherwise, you won't be able to play the CD in standard CD players. When the CD is burning, refrain from performing other operations on your computer, such as asking a guy for his "A/S/L/". This will ruin the CD and make it less valuable than a real one that a person with decency owns. You want to make sure you are very careful about this, even though a skipping CD is punk. To help pass the time, you can begin working on the following steps.
Step 4: Printing the CD cover, label, and back
Click these links for the different files needed to create your replica of the stylish Gladstones CD.You'll want to print these using an image-editing program, rather than Microsoft Paint. It has been known to stretch the images to fit the page. Print the CD cover with a landscape orientation. Be sure that you are very careful when printing the CD label. You may waste a blank label or two attempting to align the image with your label. Do not more than a couple wasted sheets, or you might as well just buy the CD.
Step 5: Cutting out the CD case contents
Using a paper cutter, remove all the white portions of the paper that are outside the printed area. You will not need this for the rest of the project and may discard it. A second option is to save it and when you're out driving, listening to your newly created Gladstones CD, throw the paper out of the window. Littering is punk. We suggest using a very sharp cutting device to ensure that your CD contents will be cut with straight edges (straight-edge is punk). This can't look like a do-it-yourself job. Also be very careful when using the sharp edge, although blood is punk. For the CD label, bend back the remaining portion of the paper with one hand, while with the other hand peeling the CD label away from its backing. Place the CD label, face-down, on the CD labeling device. When your CD has finished burning, place it on the CD labeling device, also face-down. Press the CD down to meet the lable. Be careful not to fingerprint the newly burned CD. The oil from your hands could result in a skipping CD, which, as mentioned above, is punk, but does not conform with the purposes of this activity.
Step 6: Assembling the CD
Let us begin by saying that this is the most important step of the process. Presentation is everything. You want to begin by folding the CD contents as necessary. Click these links for images accenting the places you'll want to fold. You'll want to then disassemble the jewel case. Following this, place the CD back in the newly created basin, print-side-out and then put the CD tray back in, on top of the CD back. Place the folded CD cover in the slots of the jewel case, hearts facing out. Place the CD in the tray and close the jewel case.
Step 7: Done!
Show off your newly created Gladstones CD to all your friends. Put it in the CD player and blow their ears out.
