Howdy partners, we'd like to thank all the people that came out to the show last weekend. We grossed $1100. As you know, the profits went to the Women's Center. We're already beginning to plan for our next show, but we need your help. Click the image below to vote for bands you'd like to see with us at the Rock Spot in late May. Also, the message board is back up, discuss the show, talk about your Snood high score, or just run your mouth about somebody's mom or the definition of emo.

Greetings friends, fans, and people who found a flyer. As you can see, we are the Gstones. We will be responsible for the rock and roll festival scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 27, 2004, that will support the Women's Center of Beaver County. With the exception of the percentage that will go to paying for the rental of the Rock Spot, all of your $5 will go to the Women's Center. Doors at 3:00 PM for anyone who wants to make some friends; the show is starting at 4:00 PM. Click the links below to download free streams of music from the bands slated to perform at the show.

Greetings, everyone. The show saturday night had a great turnout. Thanks to everyone who came and LONG LIVE SORRY FOR SOMETHING! With MP3.com gone and the increasing fear of using any P2P programs, we have turned to a new host. The Gladstones appear courtesy of Pure Volume and can be heard at www.purevolume.com/thegladstones

We have $30, an acoustic guitar, a synthesizer, two broken amplifiers, and no access to the PA that we rightfully own. We will be selling no CDs. We want no money. Just shut up for 20 minutes and listen for a change. It's 6:40 PM. Be there or consider yourselves fired.

My oh my, what a long time it has been. The show on August 10 was absolute insanity. Much love to everyone who came, the bands, and anyone who helped us promote it, but the most important thing that needs brought to attention is crazy props to anyone that still reps us after all these months; lyrics and links to the site still in the profiles, still asking when the next show is going to be, when the next incarnation is going to explode, people who want to get copies of the CD for their friends, people who will do ANYTHING to get their hands on the early releases from The Gladstones. These people are the reason we breathe and our motivation to continue to persue making music. Next up is a shout to the people who have helped us along the way. From the depths of our hearts, we would like to thank Nick Kucel of Innertube Studios. Without Nick, none of the beautiful music that has come from Beaver County over the last few years would have been possible. He is by far the best and cheapest in the business. If you have a band, there is no reason you should be recording anywhere else other than Innertube. We'd also like to thank the two men who helped us through a time of turmoil, Keith and Isaiah. Even though they had only one practice with us, everyone still thought we put on a great show. Finally, we'd like to thank Stephen Timko. He is a kid who burst into the scene and in a matter of weeks, began booking and promoting shows. He is an overachiever and deserves very much credit, because usually the bands he books are too lazy to promote and his shows ALWAYS have a huge turnout. Steve is hosting a reunion show for everyone's favorite band: Sorry For Something. Steve asked us to play his show with nothing but acoustic guitars, as we have done for his shows before. Derek and Alan will be playing a few jams immediately before Sorry For Something's final set as a thank you to all the devoted fans, and also to let everyone know that they are seeking other musicians to continue, as well as expand musically. It seems to be the leitmotif for bands in Beaver and Allegheny Counties to suddenly decide to not being bands anymore. We promise to dedicate ourselves to rebuilding a foundation for local music and anyone who wishes to help is welcome to join us. We are seeking a percussionist, a guitarist, and a bassist who are talented, dedicated, and have an interest in playing a few Gladstones songs and writing, performing, and recording new material. So if you know anyone who may be interested, have them contact us at thegladstones@gstones.net. Anyone who's made it this far can handle one more click to the shows page for information on the show. Anyone who's helped us and sold a CD or passed on a flyer is worth the world to us. And anyone who's talking shit should have moved on a long time ago.
Peace and love,
The Gladstones.
